I would like to pass on all of my best wishes for the start of the school year tomorrow. You have been asked to lead and prepare with challenges that no one has faced before. The students, the staff, the school community, in fact, the province should be extremely appreciative of the work you have all done. You as the leaders have helped others find the ways to be prepared and ready to welcome students back.
Attached to this email you will find an open letter that will be published on our website and posted via Twitter. This letter is a public acknowledgment of the exceptional commitment that PSAANS administrators have shown this summer in preparation for the opening of the school year. It also points to the key principles that are serving to guide and frame what administrators need to confidently implement the Back to School plan throughout the coming school year.
I am providing you a copy of the letter here to ensure that you receive it. A version in french will follow.

The EECD is hoping to provide the recording to us for distribution early this week. The session was organized and facilitated by the EECD and we have to receive it from them before we can share it with you. We will make it available as soon as we are able to. A key piece of information was regarding the release of a new COVID-19 symptom list (reduced) and checklist. Here is a link to that page:

Je voudrais vous transmettre tous mes meilleurs vœux pour la rentrée scolaire de demain. On vous a demandé de diriger et de vous préparer à des défis auxquels personne n'a été confronté auparavant. Les élèves, le personnel, la communauté scolaire, en fait la province, devraient être extrêmement reconnaissants du travail que vous avez tous fait. En tant que dirigeants, vous avez aidé les autres à trouver les moyens d'être préparés et prêts à accueillir de nouveau les étudiants.
En pièce jointe à cet courriel, vous trouverez une lettre ouverte qui sera publiée sur notre site Web et publiée via Twitter. Cette lettre est une reconnaissance publique de l'engagement exceptionnel que les administrateurs de l'AAEPNE ont montré cet été en vue de l'ouverture de l'année scolaire. Il souligne également les principes clés qui servent à guider et à encadrer ce dont les administrateurs ont besoin pour mettre en œuvre en toute confiance le plan de retour à l'école tout au long de l'année scolaire à venir.

Le MEDPE espère nous fournir l'enregistrement pour distribution au début de cette semaine. La session a été organisée et animée par le MEDPE et nous devons la recevoir de leur part avant de pouvoir la partager avec vous. Nous le rendrons disponible dès que possible.
