Message from the Chair: Participation on External Committees
PSAANS is establishing itself as a partner and contributor on many ministerial and intergovernmental committees. As part of the MOU negotiations we are advocating for a written commitment to participate in all committees that affect administrators, their responsibilities or their work. Below you will find a list of the current committees with designated seats for PSAANS representatives. Most of these committees have their own reporting structures. When possible, we will use this forum to provide you with updates. The work of these committees is intended to advance capacity, consistency and cohesion and to progress the development of a responsive education system. Meetings in support of the development of the first Memorandum of Understanding between PSAANS / AAEPNE and the EECD were held on Monday, December 16, 2019 and Wednesday, January 15, 2020.During the employment talks, the following items were discussed:

- Representation on EECD Committees
- Section 1: Employee Appointments
- Section 2: Probationary Period
- Section 7: Discipline and Resignation
- Leave for the Chair of the Association

L’AAEPNE s'affirme comme partenaire et contributeur à de nombreux comités ministériels et intergouvernementaux. Dans le cadre des négociations du protocole d'entente, nous demandons un engagement écrit de participer à tous les comités qui impliquent les administrateurs, leurs responsabilités ou leurs travaux. Vous trouverez dessous une liste des comités actuels avec des sièges désignés pour les représentants de l’AAEPNE. La plupart de ces comités ont leurs propres structures hiérarchiques. Dans la mesure du possible, nous utiliserons ce forum pour vous fournir des mises à jour. Le travail de ces comités vise à faire progresser les capacités, la cohérence et la cohésion et à faire progresser le développement d'un système éducatif réactif.
