Recently you received notification of support services being offered by Kimberlery Brennan, MSW, RSW, a clinical social worker contracted by PSAANS to offer support services during this time of unpredictability relating to the COVID 19 Virus. Given that many of you have ongoing work responsibilities, she has indicated that once you have registered at the link below, she will contact you to determine a day and time that accommodates your work schedule.
Kimberley can assist you in identifying coping strategies to address stress and worries, explore ideas for structuring daily routine and suggest possible additional supports available to you and your family either online or in your community.

Retirement Date:
We have had some inquiries in recent weeks about the deadline for submitting your notice of retirement to your employer.
Section 7.2 of the Major Terms and Conditions of Employment for Public School Administrators states that "... an administrator must provide their resignation notice to their Regional Executive Director of Education / Superintendent, or designate on or before April 1st to take effect at the end of the school year."
If it is your intention to retire at the end of the 2019-2020 school year and you have not yet given notice, please do so as soon as possible.

Récemment, nous avons eu quelques demandes de renseignements sur la date limite pour soumettre votre déclaration de retraite à votre employeur.
L'article 7.2 des Principales conditions et modalités d’emploi pour les administrateurs des écoles publiques stipule que “...lorsqu’un administrateur veut démissionner à la fin d’une année scolaire donnée, il doit donner au directeur général régional de l’éducation ou au directeur général ou à son représentant un préavis au plus tard le 1er avril de l’année scolaire concernée."
Si vous avez l'intention de prendre votre retraite à la fin de l'année scolaire 2019-2020 et que vous n'avez pas encore fait votre déclaration, veuillez le faire dès que possible.
